Teachers’ Attitudes to Syrian Refugee Students in Turkey

From the last decade on, matter of refugees in Turkey has become a key issue almost all social and political areas including education. Following refugee influx from 2011 immediately taken action to provide Syrian students with necessary educational opportunities its mainstream schools. The present study was targeted at revealing Turkish teachers’ attitudes towards these their classrooms. A total 95 in-service teachers different fields participated study. data were collected through composite instrument. Teachers’ categorized under three main subheadings; communication, adaptation, efficiency. statistical results indicated that eager help overcome adaptation problems which mainly caused by language-related deficiencies. They also had positive communicate effectively although they did not have enough practice undergraduate years regards Moreover, high efficacy beliefs better toward discussed line education teacher policies literature.
